I recently read an article by Josh Porter about something he calls microcopy. It’s about how “the smallest amounts of text can have the biggest impact.” Those little nuggets that reassure you before committing to something. Whether that be a newsletter, a transaction, or the name of a new blog. Instead of pushing you into unknown territory, microcopy lays a friendly hand upon your shoulder and guides you in the right direction. Leaving you with a sense of comfort, and willingness, to take the next step.
